Novartis Federal Credit Union will be opening our newest branch in the East Village very soon. This will create several new positions for entry level Member Service Representatives.  

Summary of Responsibilities for all open positions:
Provides a variety of member service functions including but not limited to:
• Teller activities which includes making deposits and withdrawals from member’s accounts
• Opens and processes new savings and checking accounts according to Credit Union policies and procedures and in accordance with the U.S. Patriot Act
• Provides assistance to members regarding balance inquiries, check orders, change of address forms,and other account related issues
• Assists member with loan applications and process loan applications for the loan officers consideration
• Maintain and post members electronic transactions
• Balances daily work and makes deposit of daily receipts
• Assists with posting and maintaining General Ledger and preparing financial reports
• Assists with collections ie; skip tracing, late notices, calls to late accounts, etc. 

Qualifications: Must have working knowledge of customer service representative skills normally associated with experience in a financial institution, working knowledge of opening new accounts procedures, excellent communication and member service skills, strong mathematical skills, experience in Microsoft Office products, work with numbers accurately, able to operate office equipment and work with computers, cash handling, and other clerical duties as assigned. High school diploma and additional training or experience to perform the above responsibilities.
